Politica machiavellica
Recently I was in Italy a few days and I have heard speak insistently of this country's political diatribes. Items usually not positive on the current government and this saddens me because I I feel ethically, culturally and even religiously (as a Catholic and Franciscan) very Italian.
I will not on the facts, not for the ordinary citizen to judge, especially if a foreigner is nationally.
recognize the presumption of innocence to anyone before a conviction, but I can not but feel sad to know that some MPs have a criminal record in assisting - through television - to work stuffed with insults, observing that Members pass shamelessly from one party to another, seeing half-empty seats when treated subjects and constructive sessions must be voted more crowded when saving premier. The government then defends a sword behaviors that the judiciary has already put to trial, while some of its members dared to declare that other members belonging to opposing currents, should be cited in international courts.
All this happens in a wonderful country, but with a high rate of youth unemployment, with starvation wages for workers and teachers, with a catastrophic debt. M'indigna also the fact that Catholic movements like the government support it, and that half of the practitioners (according to recent polls) are ready to vote again.
But because I look out the window?
Why I would not have approached our elections are to take example from the political and party happens outside our borders. Of things and people to imitate Italy there are many, we think of the voluntary social, cultural commitment, but we do not choose as models the lack of ethics and decency of some ruler of neighboring Republic, and we are aware of the danger to end the political controversy.

C'è politica e politica
long thicken meetings and political battles ahead of the cantonal elections. In Ticino, at the moment, there is an enviable peace between political parties and churches and will not be elections that will break. But according to what is published in the journal "Voice of the Gospel" (No. 2, February 2011) in Central Switzerland "Left and right (are) against the churches."

Fish Pots, kettles and other
I hope you enjoy ...
Although lately I have been neglected for lack of time ... one of my old passion is decoupage.
;
It's actually been cast aside because use paints and colors with my little 2-year
around the house could be dangerous!
Among the many items that I have decorated over the years, my favorites are the old pots and kettles that remember the past ...
... living in a house I found it difficult find their rightful place!
Although I have always spent time with me and, therefore, I could take pictures and post them!
I hope you enjoy ...
Good weekend to all of you who follow me,

Just a few words ... Hearts for Valentine's creative
Happy Valentine's Day all
;
When you wonder what l'amore
immagina due mani ardenti
that meet,
two gazing into each other,
due cuori che tremano di fronte
all'immensità di un sentimento,
and few words
to perpetuate an instant.
to perpetuate an instant.

Vale, valete
Under the popular saying "A carnival every joke is" There are people (I dare not call them people) who allow themselves to go to violence and abuse of those days to express through words and gestures, he is unable to control even in that most intimate sphere that is sexuality. It seems that these individuals have married the theories set out a fortnight ago from a reader / writer of these pages, where, besides barbs against sexual morality inculcated by the Church (be the first to admit that it was often too severe), urged to do what you want in this field, using the senses with absolute freedom, perhaps it would be well used responsibly.
Some of my readers do not know the source of the carnival, and for some it means "carne vale", that is the time of binge eating meat, that's why the name of the weekday you add the adjective "fat" (eg: Sunday fat). For others it means "the way the flesh" in the above, the Lent time, once, "lean and fast."
There are also those who wonder why in our country, in areas with the Roman liturgical rite, the carnival ends on Tuesday evening, while areas with Ambrosian rite lasts until Saturday evening. In the "Romans" Lent ends on Palm Sunday, for the Ambrosian holy Wednesday.

Armi e violenza
Sunday I talked about Gandhi, a man of peace who knows what would have voted at the next initiative "No to Arms" (for protection from violence perpetrated with weapons). I have no doubt, though I think the purpose is to combat violence. I usually do not give my vote, but on this occasion, as a man, as a Christian and as a Franciscan, I say that I will vote "yes."
As a man I am opposed to the violence (but do not consider this defense), so do not approve of the fact that they take home the tools to perpetrate violence against men and to animals (hunting).
consider peace as the supreme good and I try to urge people to live and work to keep the peace. As a man-Swiss
I do not believe that my "yes" is against the national values; poor if Switzerland has put its values \u200b\u200band its traditions in the weapons of war.
As a Christian I believe the Beatitudes, one of which proclaims: "Blessed are the peacemakers." I try to be among those whom the angels greeted the announcement with Christmas: "Glory to God in the heavens and on earth peace to men of good will." How
Franciscan churches in Assisi, the Holy One of his brothers to give up weapons to be credible witnesses of a preaching of peace in the cities and countryside of Umbria, in a time when the peasants came out for fear of armed bandits who infested the campaigns.

Luminary Bags Happy Birthday
Catalana di crostacei!
fish Today!
This recipe is a real treat, one of those dishes that we treat ourselves when we want to cuddle, and we need to treat us like a king!
I do not know to give you precise proportions, you do according to your taste: I put lobster, prawns and shrimps, and I have served with salad of tomatoes, red onion, olive oil and lemon, and I took apart , with a mayonnaise vinegar made by me.
Ingredients
lobster shrimp scampi
tomatoes
red onion
lemon oil
vinegar 1 egg
seed oil
1 - Boil the lobster for a few minutes, then shell them carefully, paying attention to your hands-the shell is hard, you might cut!
2 - Boil the other crustaceans, but little, otherwise they become rubbery.
3 - Combine shrimp and prawns in a bowl, and marinate in the refrigerator laciateli with onions, tomatoes, olive oil, lemon, salt and a pinch of pepper.
4 - Remove the lobster meat, both from the "body" that claws, and allow to marinate in a little lemon juice.
5 - for the mayonnaise, put into the cup of the egg immersion blender, and started upstream to about 1 dl of oil seeds, supplemented with a couple of tablespoons of vinegar and equal amount of lemon juice.
6 - recompose the lobster, and accommodated in a fish platter with the lobster in the center and of course vegetables. Pour over a little bit of mayonnaise, which then served separately in a gravy boat.
Enjoy
